School Programs/Home School
The Bowie Reading and Learning Center also has teachers providing individual and small group instruction, as well as assessments in several schools in the area. A program can be developed to fit your school’s needs. The Bowie Reading and Learning Center can also design an individualized “home school” program that is appropriate to the individual student’s needs. Home school instruction can be in a single subject or the Bowie Center can assist parents in providing instruction in all subjects.

Consultations
Professional consultation and advocacy is available for all students assessed and tutored at the Bowie Reading and Learning Center. Consultation is also available to schools and individuals for a variety of needs, including assistance in treating specific learning difficulties and in curriculum development and implementation. Staff at the Center may also train the student’s teachers and parents in appropriate instructional methods.
